Not sure what to use for her tail we used a tuperwear container and plastic.

Our mermaid once in costume could not get out for a long time...otherwish is would take at least an hour to put her back in it.

Unfortunatly latex does not hold up in clorinated water. We had problems with the outfit after this...the clorine ate away at the latex.

As you can see we actually glued our lady into her tail. It wasn't bad going on but coming off was another story.

She wasn't going anywhere from us.

The only other character in the movie...the old man who could hear her.

Perfection was learning how to build a latex mermaids tail on a budget and making it last for a three day shoot in the pool and on the sand.

Fainting, is three generation in Russia, three different sets of clothes, three different sets of actors while renting out of a costume house.
